Hallmarking

Did you know that hallmarking was originally introduced in 1300 by a Statute of Edward I and is one of the earliest forms of consumer protection.  Anything sold as silver on my website that weighs over 7.78 grams is hallmarked and also stamped with my unique mark by the Birmingham Assay office.  Anything that weighs less than 7.78 grams is exempt from hallmarking.  If you wish to find out more about current hallmarking legislation click here.

Warmest regards
